SUMMARY: Lead Allworth Financial's corporate real estate portfolio and facilities function, including office selection, lease lifecycle management, space planning, remodels, relocations, integrations, and ongoing workplace operations.

Requirements

  • Demonstrated experience overseeing corporate office operations, including maintenance, vendor management, space planning, office relocations, renovations, and workplace services
  • Ability to manage multiple facilities projects and priorities simultaneously while maintaining strong attention to detail, timelines, budgets, and stakeholder expectations
  • Excellent communication and relationship-building skills, with the ability to work effectively with executive leadership, advisors, employees, landlords, property managers, and external partners
  • Bachelor’s degree in Facilities Management, Business Administration, Real Estate, Construction Management, Engineering, Operations Management, or a related field preferred. Equivalent combination of education and relevant experience may be considered in lieu of a degree.
  • 8+ years of progressive facilities, workplace operations, corporate real estate, or office services experience, preferably in a multi-location professional services environment
  • 3+ years of leadership experience managing facilities teams, office services personnel, vendors, contractors, or cross-functional project teams
  • Be onsite to lead all office remodels, relocations, and integrations. Coordinate with internal partners and external vendors as needed.
  • Travel 25%-50% of time required
  • This role is a hybrid role, with 3-4 days in-office expected
  • This position requires the ability to stand or sit for long periods of time, lift at least 15 pounds, file documents in high or low cabinets, to use the telephone and to use the computer systems

Responsibilities

  • Own the strategy, planning, financial stewardship, and day-to-day operations for Allworth's nationwide office portfolio
  • Lead corporate real estate strategy, including market and site evaluation, lease renewals, lease negotiation support, site selection, office capacity planning, and long-term space utilization analysis
  • Oversee facilities operations across office locations, including maintenance, repairs, vendor management, space planning, office moves and relocations
  • Serve as the primary real estate and facilities point of contact for acquisitions and partner integrations, ensuring acquired offices are integrated efficiently and adhere to Allworth's brand standards.
  • Partner with executive leadership to ensure facilities decisions support firmwide objectives
  • Lead office buildouts, renovations, relocations, consolidations, and expansion projects from planning through execution
  • Manage relationships with real-estate agents, landlords, property managers, contractors, architects, furniture vendors, and other facilities partners
  • Negotiate, review, and manage facilities-related contracts
  • Develop and manage the real estate and facilities budget, including lease operating expenses, non-operating expenses, capital expenditure plans, monthly forecasting, and variance management; ensure spending remains within budget
  • Create and maintain facilities policies, procedures, playbooks, and documentation
  • Lead one Facilities Coordinator
