Job Summary: The Facilities Director is responsible for the overall leadership, performance, and strategic direction of Integrated Facilities Management (IFM) services at a large, complex, multi-service site. This role ensures safe, compliant, and efficient operations while delivering exceptional client service, maintaining financial performance, and driving continuous improvement across all service lines. The role includes a dotted-line partnership with Dining & Catering Operations to ensure a seamless end-user experience.

Responsibilities

  • Provide oversight of all IFM services including hard services, soft services, and workplace services. Ensure consistent execution of SOW, PM programs, and reactive services.
  • Drive operational consistency and service quality.
  • Serve as the primary client interface. Build strong stakeholder relationships. Lead weekly, monthly, and quarterly meetings. Manage escalations and ensure proactive communication.
  • Own P&L performance including budgeting, forecasting, and cost control. Drive cost savings and manage change orders. Ensure financial discipline and reporting accuracy.
  • Ensure compliance with all safety, regulatory, and contractual requirements. Lead incident investigations and promote a strong safety culture.
  • Lead and develop a high-performing team. Establish accountability, support hiring, and drive engagement and retention.
  • Manage vendor performance, enforce SLAs, and optimize vendor utilization and cost efficiency.
  • Ensure PM compliance, WO backlog control, and CMMS data integrity. Maintain asset registry and lifecycle planning.
  • Lead capital projects, MAC work, and process improvements. Drive innovation and standardization.
  • Partner with Dining & Catering leadership to align services and enhance user experience. Support event coordination and ensure operational alignment.
