About The Position

JLL is hiring a Facilities Coordinator for one of its clients in Mississauga. The Facilities Coordinator ensures smooth daily operations with primary focus on shipping/receiving logistics, conference room management, and administrative support. This client-facing role maintains professional workplace environments while delivering exceptional customer service across all operational functions.

Requirements

  • High School diploma or equivalent
  • Exceptional customer service skills with hospitality focus
  • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and handle material-handling equipment
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy
  • Basic computer proficiency (Microsoft Office, Outlook)
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision

Nice To Haves

  • Previous shipping/receiving, office support, or hospitality experience
  • Knowledge of shipping procedures and documentation
  • Meeting room setup and event coordination experience

Responsibilities

  • Inspect, process, and document all incoming/outgoing shipments
  • Pack materials, prepare shipping documents, and perform campus pickups
  • Maintain organized dock areas and operate material-handling equipment safely
  • Coordinate with delivery personnel and route receiving information appropriately
  • Set up and reset meeting spaces (tables, chairs, AV equipment, supplies)
  • Ensure rooms are clean and ready one hour before meetings
  • Maintain inventory and coordinate with AV, catering, and facilities teams
  • Provide reception services and manage phone inquiries
  • Handle package deliveries and create shipment labels
  • Maintain stocked, organized workspaces
  • Escalate building service issues as needed
