About The Position
Welcome to Animal Emergency & Specialty Center (AESC)! We are a 24/7 Emergency Care Veterinary Hospital with 7 different Specialties. The AESC Team is growing, and we are seeking motivated, positive and compassionate individuals to join our team. We are seeking a Facilities Coordinator to work alongside the Facilities Manager in maintaining the hospital building, grounds, and equipment.
Requirements
- High school diploma or GED.
- Three years of work experience in general construction, a construction trade, facility maintenance, or related job field.
- Fluent English skills (speaking & reading) are required for the role; fluency in multiple languages a plus!
Nice To Haves
- Associates degree.
- Three years of work experience performing facility maintenance.
- Microsoft Office Specialist core certification.
- OSHA 10-hour card certification.
Responsibilities
- Complete building maintenance tasks as assigned by the facilities manager.
- Complete frequent safety assessments of hospital areas.
- Deep cleaning and organizational projects.
- Operate battery powered floor scrubber.
- Coordinate building and equipment repairs with approved vendors.
- Assist with maintaining over 100 PC workstations and hospital IT infrastructure.
- Painting and drywall patches to maintain hospital appearance.
- Safely operate hand tools and power tools.
