About The Position
Carteret Management Corporation is hiring a full-time Facilities Cleaning & Maintenance Assistant for Blue Sky Landing, a new apartment community in Fort Pierce. The role is responsible for custodial work, groundskeeping, and light maintenance, with the goal of ensuring a high level of resident satisfaction. Duties include clearing grounds debris, cleaning offices and common areas, helping prepare units for occupancy, and completing basic maintenance and janitorial tasks. Requirements
- Excellent customer service skills.
- Ability to perform general custodial duties.
- Ability to handle multiple priorities.
- Ability to operate machinery, tools, and equipment needed for the duties, including hand tools, a pressure washer, and a hand blower.
- Ability to work cooperatively and effectively with on-site staff, vendors, and residents.
- Must work in a drug-free workplace.
Nice To Haves
- Prior custodial experience preferred.
Responsibilities
- Work to ensure the highest level of resident satisfaction at all times.
- Clear debris from grounds and clean office and common areas.
- Assist in the preparation of market-ready units.
- Perform light maintenance, such as changing light bulbs and air filters and clearing clogs.
- Perform other general janitorial and basic maintenance duties as assigned.
