The company has fourteen manufacturing facilities globally with over 1000 employees. This Facilities Cleaner II position is located in the Gowanda Electronics facility in Gowanda, NY. The role is crucial for housekeeping operations, supporting the cleanliness and maintenance of the facility to ensure a safe and orderly environment. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, reliable, and physically capable of performing heavy cleaning tasks. The position involves maintaining the cleanliness and functionality of the facility, performing routine cleaning, inspections, maintenance activities, and handling special projects as needed.

Requirements

Less than high school education required
Proven working experience as a cleaner
Ability to work independently and manage time effectively
Strong attention to detail and commitment to maintaining a clean environment
Ability to follow safety protocols and company guidelines

Nice To Haves

Experience with cleaning chemicals
Familiarity with Safety Data Sheets

Responsibilities

Clean, stock, and supply designated facility areas (dusting, sweeping, vacuuming, mopping, cleaning ceiling vents, restroom cleaning, etc.)
Empty wastebaskets and transport trash and waste to disposal areas
Perform and document routine inspection and maintenance activities
Carry out heavy cleansing tasks and special projects
Follow all health and safety regulations
Other duties as assigned
