About The Position

Kemco Facilities Services and Reliant Commercial is seeking an experienced carpenter in Charleston, SC. This is a commercial carpenter position focused on making repairs in retail stores. The role requires a self-starter who is reliable, a team player, and possesses computer and smartphone skills, along with proficiency in paperwork systems. The work involves all types of interior finishes including sheetrock, suspended ceilings, carpet, ceramic tile, and FRP. Responsibilities also include working with steel frame doors, door hardware, commercial casework, and store fixtures. Commercial construction experience is desired. The ideal candidate will be a good problem solver with excellent people skills. This is an hourly position with 40 hours per week, offering W2 employment. Occasional travel is required, with hotel and per diem provided. Some overtime and some 24/7 on-call service will also be required.
