About The Position

Kemco Facilities Services and Reliant Commercial is seeking an experienced carpenter in North Charleston, SC. Kemco has a history of providing exceptional service in the Restaurant and Retail sectors since 1989. They offer coverage from New Orleans to Southern Virginia and are looking for dedicated professionals to join their team. This family-owned and operated business specializes in commercial/industrial HVAC, refrigeration, kitchen equipment repairs, installation, and maintenance, as well as carpentry, overhead doors, and building restoration. The role involves making repairs in retail stores. The ideal candidate will be a self-starter, reliable, a team player, possess computer and smartphone skills, and be proficient with paperwork systems. Experience is required in interior finishes such as sheetrock, suspended ceilings, carpet, ceramic tile, and FRP. The job also includes working with steel frame doors, door hardware, commercial casework, and store fixtures. Commercial construction experience is desired. The candidate must be a good problem solver with excellent people skills.

Responsibilities

Make repairs in retail stores.

Handle occasional travel, with hotel and per diem provided.
Be available for some overtime.
Participate in some 24/7 on-call service.
