About The Position
Kemco Facilities Services and Reliant Commercial is seeking an experienced carpenter in Moncks Corner, SC. Kemco has a history of providing exceptional service in the Restaurant and Retail sectors since 1989, offering coverage from New Orleans to Southern Virginia. They are looking for dedicated professionals to join their team. The company specializes in commercial/industrial HVAC, refrigeration, kitchen equipment repairs, installation, and maintenance, as well as carpentry, overhead doors, and building restoration.
Requirements
- Must be a self-starter, reliable, and a team player.
- Must have computer and smart phone skills.
- Must be good with paperwork systems.
- Experience required in all types of interior finishes: sheetrock, suspended ceilings, carpet, ceramic tile and FRP.
- Experience with steel frame doors, door hardware, commercial casework, and store fixtures.
- Must be a good problem solver.
- Must have excellent people skills.
Nice To Haves
- Commercial construction experience desired.
Responsibilities
- Make repairs in retail stores.
- Perform work including steel frame doors, door hardware, commercial casework, and store fixtures.
- Handle all types of interior finishes: sheetrock, suspended ceilings, carpet, ceramic tile and FRP.
- Occasional travel may be required.
- Some overtime is required.
- Participate in some 24/7 on-call service.
