About The Position

Scheels is seeking a Facilities Associate to join their team. This role is responsible for maintaining the cleanliness and appearance of the store, ensuring a positive experience for customers and associates. The Facilities Associate will perform various cleaning duties, operate commercial cleaning equipment, and report any necessary repairs to their supervisor. This position is part-time, with an average of 15-20 hours per week, and requires availability Monday through Friday between 7 a.m. and noon.

Requirements

• High school diploma or general education degree (GED)
• 1-3 months of experience
• Must be able to sit, stand, bend at the waist, climb, stoop, kneel, crouch, reach, walk, push/pull, lift, talk, and hear with or without reasonable accommodation.
• Must be available to work between the hours of 7 a.m. and noon Monday through Friday.

Responsibilities

• Vacuum, mop, sweep, clean, and empty waste baskets
• Clean windows and doors
• Restock cleaning supplies and restroom items
• Operate commercial cleaning equipment
• Answer and respond to phone calls, such as spills, wet floors, and general clean-up
• Pick up trash in the parking lot and around the outside of the store
• Sanitation of the facility restrooms and their fixtures
• Report any needed repairs to the supervisor, including but not limited to leaky faucets, toilets, loose tiles, or broken fixtures
• Maintain a high attention to detail, ensuring all areas of the property are clean and meet Scheels' expectations for appearance
