Zaber is looking for a personable and organized Facilities Assistant with a passion for troubleshooting and fixing things to join our Facilities and Office Management Team. Your day-to-day work will be hands-on and varied: one morning you could be setting up a workstation or coordinating with an outside maintenance vendor, and in the afternoon you could be replacing a door closer or assisting a Facilities Technician with a new compressed-air line. You'll join our Facilities and Office Team, working alongside an Office Manager and three experienced Facilities Technicians. The team supports ~200 employees across 5 buildings, and 70,000 square feet. Our space includes a 12,000-square-foot machine shop and a production floor staffed by 30 technicians. Much of your work will come through emails and Facilities tickets, but you'll also respond to immediate requests and day-to-day needs as they arise. Zaber is an employee-owned company that designs and manufactures precision motion control equipment for customers in photonics, life sciences, and industrial automation. We build our products in Vancouver, and your role is crucial to creating a well-run facility that makes that possible.
