About The Position

The Facilities Assistant maintains the physical condition of mechanical systems on resort property. This individual performs general building and grounds maintenance and minor repairs, including carpentry, plumbing, heating, electrical, and flooring tasks. This role supports the Facilities Maintenance Manager with preventive maintenance, inspections, and assigned building and grounds duties.

Requirements

  • Any combination of education, training, and experience demonstrating ability to perform duties, including related work experience in one or more building trades.
  • Ability to perform physical labor (climbing, bending, reaching).
  • Ability to lift/carry up to 50 lbs.
  • Valid driver’s license.

Responsibilities

  • Performs basic rough and finished carpentry, window/door hardware repair, basic electrical repair, plumbing repairs, painting/surface preparation, and masonry/concrete work.
  • Assists less experienced laborers as needed.
  • Assists Facilities Maintenance Manager with preventive maintenance schedules and inspections.
  • Performs other building and grounds maintenance duties and special projects as assigned.
