About The Position

This role supports plant operations by planning, scheduling, and coordinating maintenance activities that ensure the safe and reliable operation of facility equipment and systems. This role handles preventive, corrective, and emergency maintenance from initial request through completion, while partnering with cross-functional teams, vendors, and technicians to minimize downtime and maintain operational efficiency.

Requirements

  • High school degree or equivalent required
  • 5 years maintenance related experience in a manufacturing environment preferred
  • CMMS experience preferred (Maximo or similar)
  • Strong planning and organizational skills
  • Ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment
  • Ability to work effectively within cross-functional teams
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to interact effectively with plant leadership and management
  • Knowledge of and/or experience in a regulated industry

Responsibilities

  • Schedule preventive maintenance work in accordance with the preventive maintenance program
  • Schedule corrective and emergency maintenance work, utilizing internal and/or external resources
  • Receive and triage requests from multiple functional groups and schedule the resulting maintenance work
  • Identify and implement corrections to the maintenance program
  • Identify and procure materials, consumables, and maintenance spare parts
  • Manage multiple contracts and billing for embedded contractors and recurring fees including janitorial staff, cafeteria services, and waste management
  • Service request processing/scheduling the maintenance team to make repairs
  • Work with vendors and outside contractors as necessary
  • Supporting Batch release paperwork and identifying trends
  • Processing HazIDs and creating service requests/Work Orders as appropriate
  • Plan and coordinate vendors for various tasks, repairs, and inspections during planned maintenance periods
  • Aid in trainings, vendor onboarding, and other administrative tasks as encountered
  • Complete, review and reconcile documentation and reports in accordance with Good Documentation Practices (GDP)
  • Other duties as assigned
