About The Position

The Facilitator Delivery Partner is a key member of the Opening Minds team, responsible for supporting a high quality, consistent, and well supported facilitator network. This role spans certification, delivery support, and facilitator experience, ensuring facilitators are equipped, engaged, and aligned with program standards. The Facilitator Delivery Partner acts as a facilitation Subject Matter Expert with in-depth knowledge of the Opening Minds portfolio, ensuring the integrity, quality, and consistency of facilitator delivery across programs. The role leads certification and quality assurance processes, provides coaching and support to facilitators, and contributes to their ongoing professional development. The role also leads community engagement, mentorship initiatives, and knowledge sharing, while generating insights to inform continuous improvement of programs and the facilitator experience.

Requirements

  • Minimum 5 years of experience in community engagement, adult education, program development, or a related field
  • Strong facilitation and communication skills, both in person and virtually, with the ability to engage diverse audiences and influence outcomes
  • Bilingualism (English and French) is required, with fluency in both languages.
  • Experience designing and delivering professional development or learning programs
  • Demonstrated experience vetting and selecting applicants against established standards and eligibility criteria, applying sound judgment and consistency
  • Demonstrated ability to build relationships and foster community in both virtual and in-person environments
  • Ability to analyze feedback and data to inform continuous improvement and program enhancements
  • Strong organizational skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities and operate with a high degree of autonomy
  • High proficiency in Microsoft Office, MS Teams, Zoom, and Salesforce or similar CRM

Responsibilities

  • Deliver national and international Lead Facilitator Certification Training programs
  • Assess and approve candidates for Facilitator Certification Training
  • Provide coaching and development plans to provisional facilitators and those requiring additional support
  • Lead the maintenance and evolution of course standards, including defining and refining standards, reviewing course evaluations against benchmarks, and ensuring consistent certification outcomes and validation processes
  • Lead and inform performance management decisions for Lead Facilitators, including retention and dismissal considerations
  • Recruit and develop Associate Facilitators into Lead Facilitators
  • Provide ongoing coaching and support to facilitators to ensure quality and consistency in delivery
  • Foster a strong, inclusive facilitator community through engagement initiatives and communications
  • Serve as a key point of contact for facilitator-related inquiries
  • Lead and sustain communities of practice for Lead Facilitator
  • Design and deliver professional development programming aligned with facilitator needs and program goals
  • Identify learning gaps and curate relevant tools and resources
  • Lead the Facilitator Mentorship Program, including recruitment, matching, and ongoing support
  • Monitor outcomes and continuously enhance the program
  • Collect and analyze feedback to identify trends and inform improvements
  • Maintain feedback loops to strengthen the facilitator experience
  • Lead and inform enhancements to course content, delivery models, and facilitator tools
  • Monitor facilitator activity and provide insights and recommendations to inform leadership decisions
  • Develop and maintain best practices, tools, and resources
  • Enable knowledge sharing through forums, webinars, and communications
  • Design and implement recognition initiatives
  • Represent the program at conferences, workshops, and external engagements
  • Participate in meetings and forums as required
  • Serve as a Subject Matter Expert and Advisory Group member, contributing to strategic direction, innovation, and evolution of Opening Minds programs
  • Drive and contribute to cross functional initiatives and organizational priorities
  • Lead and support ongoing development and enhancement of course offerings and modules
  • Support organizational onboarding
  • Perform other duties as required
