As a Fabricator you will perform multiple operations such as drilling, routing, finishing and assembly of components and assemblies. Currently there is an opening for a Fabricator in our Machined Core division on 2nd shift (Monday- Friday 2:30p - 10:30p.) Training on 1st for 6 to 8 weeks may be required: Monday - Friday 6:30AM to 2:30PM. This role involves performing finish work on components, assemblies, and products including forming, potting, splicing, sanding and trimming, and completing fabrication and assembly per drawings/instructions. The Fabricator will read and understand written work instructions, fill out all documentation accurately, and inspect parts against quality requirements. This position requires interpreting and following a work schedule, advising of any issues, and supporting essential duties with moderate to low supervision. Additional tasks include assisting with cleaning and packing operations, cleaning product for packaging, and properly loading crates and packaging parts for shipment. The role also involves completing necessary paperwork, entering data into the electronic data system, and following all required cleanroom processes and procedures. Specific duties related to heat forming include the proper installation of vacuum bags, preparation of tools and materials (peel ply, tooltec, vacuum bag material, etc.), operating ovens to select the correct recipe, and curving expanded parts as required. The Fabricator is expected to provide the best value to the customer in terms of Cost, Quality, and Delivery, and handle internal and external questions promptly and professionally. Maintaining a clean and safe work environment is crucial, along with performing all reasonably related duties as assigned and supporting quality audits.
