About The Position

The Fabricator (Welder) works with a variety of welding equipment to fabricate or repair products in the performance of the duties of a Welder as follows.

Requirements

4 years of welding related experience doing Flux Core, TIG, and Stick Welding.
Knowledge of 3G/4G/6G welding passes.
Knowledge of food grade welding procedures and compliance measures.
Certified High-Pressure pipe welder.
Successful Completion of Trident Welding Test.
Work authorizations: This position is not eligible for immigration sponsorship.

Nice To Haves

6 years of welding related experience doing Flux Core, TIG, and Stick Welding.
2 years welding in food manufacturing environment.

Responsibilities

Welds and assembles metal components together with welding or brazing and any combination of arc welding processes.
Uses a variety of arc and gas welding equipment to fabricate or repair products such as machine parts, plant, and shipboard equipment.
Performs related tasks such as thermal cutting and grinding.
Repairs broken or cracked parts, fills holes, and increases size of metal parts.
Positions and clamps together components of fabricated metal products preparatory to welding.
Measures and cuts materials to specifications.
Performs other similar or related duties as requested or assigned.
Acquires knowledge of Trident’s Environmental and Safety Policies by completing required training programs and performing designated work activities in accordance with training and procedures/work instructions.
Notifies designated personnel of any environmental or safety incidents or risks not previously documented, in accordance with Environmental Awareness and/or safety trainings.
