About The Position
Reading Truck Fabricator are responsible for complete fabrication, assembly & welding of raw steel & aluminum into manufactured bodies. Included, but not limited to, cutting & forming raw materials into parts, welding parts together, reading & understanding build sheets & standard work instructions for the various products we manufacture.
Requirements
- Internal or External Weld Certification required
- Welding - MIG (Steel and Aluminum)
Nice To Haves
- High School diploma or GED preferred
Responsibilities
- Complete fabrication, assembly & welding of raw steel & aluminum into manufactured bodies.
- Cutting & forming raw materials into parts.
- Welding parts together.
- Reading & understanding build sheets & standard work instructions for the various products we manufacture.
- Welding steel and aluminum.
- Measuring and cutting raw materials to specifications.
- Assess welded surfaces, structures and components for flaws.
