About The Position

TransMaster Trailers is a leading heavy haul trailer manufacturer seeking two experienced Welder/Fabricators to support their trailer building processes. This is a 1st shift opportunity. The role involves working as a team member within Production, closely with the Production Fabrication Lead, performing welding activities, and ensuring all product specifications, quality requirements, and deadlines are met. Requirements

Skills in fabrication.
MIG welding skills.
Proficiency with vertical welding.
Skill level to work independently.
Understanding and proper utilization of pre-heating procedures and processes.
Understanding of metallurgy.
Ability to interpret and fabricate projects from blueprints.
Ability to perform welding with extremely limited errors and high productivity.

Responsibilities

Work as a team member for a leading heavy haul trailer manufacturer within Production, as a Welder-Fabricator.
Work closely with the Production Fabrication Lead.
Perform welding activities, ensuring all product specifications, quality requirements, and deadlines are met.
Interpret and fabricate projects from blueprints.
Perform MIG welding.
Perform vertical welding.
Improve proficiency with welding, in consideration of extremely limited errors and productivity.
Work independently.
Understand and properly utilize pre-heating procedures and processes.
Understand metallurgy.
Perform other business-related duties as required and assigned.
