About The Position

Responsible for producing high quality fabricated parts utilizing various fabrication equipment. This role involves operating production machinery such as loaded/unloader, drill press station, weld nut station, and saw. The Fabricator I will also conduct inspections, perform set-ups, prepare work, fabricate parts, clean up, perform preventative maintenance, and ensure quality assurance of their own work and work area. Compliance with policies, procedures, customer service goals, quality standards, and production goals is essential. The role also includes record-keeping according to Stryker specifications and a commitment to quality, reliability, and continuous improvement. Meeting work schedules and overtime requirements, including weekends, is mandatory.

Requirements

High School or GED
Manufacturing Experience

Responsibilities

Producing high quality fabricated parts utilizing various fabrication equipment.
Running production as a loaded/unloader, or on a drill press station, weld nut station, saw, or other basic fabrication equipment and tooling.
Conducting inspections in accordance with relevant gage plans with a working knowledge of how to operate required inspection equipment and troubleshoots as needed.
Set-up, work preparation, fabrication, clean up, preventative maintenance of machine center, and quality assurance of own work and work area.
Assuring compliance with policies and procedures, customer service goals, and quality standards while meeting production goals.
Accountable for all record-keeping as appropriate and in accordance with Stryker specifications.
