About The Position
DNV EnerFab/Youngstown Pipe and Steel is seeking a skilled Fabricator/Fitter with a strong background in industrial fabrication and installation. The ideal candidate takes pride in precision work, follows safety and quality standards, and brings hands-on expertise in fitting.
Requirements
- One year of experience preferred as a Fabricator/Fitter in industrial, fabrication, or construction settings.
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints and schematics.
- Experience with carbon steel, stainless steel, and alloy piping.
- Physical ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work in varied positions and environments.
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
Nice To Haves
- Familiarity with ASME and AWS codes.
Responsibilities
- Fabricate and fit custom jobs according to blueprint specifications.
- Measure and cut materials, and verify dimensions, alignments, and weld quality through inspection and testing.
- Assemble and install systems in shop settings.
- Read and interpret drawings, P&IDs, and material lists accurately.
- Adhere to safety policies and maintain a clean, organized work environment.
