The position will be responsible primarily to clean, prep, and cut parts, and be a backup to the primary welder/painter. The work will need to be completed in a timely, cost effective and safe manner.
Requirements
- Goal-oriented with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage priorities and meet deadlines.
- Ability to produce high-quality work while maintaining a high level of productivity.
- High School Diploma or equivalent.
- Two or more years of experience in related trade.
- Ability to perform frequent bending, lifting, and moving of materials
- Must be able to safely lift 50 lbs.
Nice To Haves
- Training will be required as time and duties evolve.
- Future certifications may be required.
Responsibilities
- Cleaning and general maintenance of the paint booth.
- Backup to the primary welder and painter.
- Cutting material with a band saw.
- Operation of a plasma cutter.
- Produce quality work while maintaining a high level of production.
- Follow procedures that ensure work is completed correctly and efficiently.
- Maintain a safe and clean manufacturing environment.
- Regularly required to stand, bend, kneel, reach, climb ladders, and move about the facility.
- Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) must be worn at all times.
- Maintain a customer-friendly attitude when interacting with internal and external customers.
- Handle multiple projects concurrently.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
