About The Position
We're hiring now for a Fabrication in Ida Grove, IA. This role involves operating press brake and decoying machinery to fabricate metal parts based on engineering specifications. The job requires setting up machinery, selecting and installing appropriate dies, and adjusting settings to meet project requirements. A key part of the role is performing die changes efficiently with minimal downtime to maintain production schedules. You will also need to read and interpret technical drawings, blueprints, and specifications, and monitor machine operations to ensure consistent product quality.
Requirements
- Fabrication experience preferred
- Able to pass a pre-employment drug screen
- Able to pass a background check
- Able to work in the US
- Proven experience as a Press Brake and DE coiling Operator, with a strong understanding of metal fabrication processes.
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and blueprints.
- Experience with tooling setup, die changes, and machine calibration techniques.
