About The Position

The Fire Protection Fabrication Welder fabricates and welds components for fire protection systems, including construction and assembly work on fire suppression and sprinkler systems. Welding activities must adhere to industry standards and safety regulations.

Requirements

• High school diploma.

Nice To Haves

• Two or more years of fabrication experience.
• Ability to weld.

Responsibilities

• Cut and roll-groove fire protection piping.
• Bundle and organize pipe in preparation for shipping.
• Weld using an automated machine.
• Hand-weld when necessary.
• Perform miscellaneous shop tasks.
• Maintain the condition of the work area, including keeping it free of trash and products in their correct locations.
