About The Position

The Fabrication Technician produces, assembles, and finishes material components according to engineering drawings and specifications. The role supports manufacturing operations by ensuring high-quality fabrication, maintaining equipment, and adhering to safety and quality standards.

Requirements

High school diploma or GED.
1–3 years of fabrication, machining, or manufacturing experience.
Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and blueprints.
Proficiency with fabrication tools and machinery.
Basic math and measurement skills.
Strong attention to detail.

Responsibilities

Interpret and work from blueprints, technical drawings, and work orders.
Set up and operate fabrication equipment, such as saws, presses, CNC machines, welding equipment, and cutting tools.
Measure, cut, shape, and assemble materials to precise specifications.
Perform welding, grinding, drilling, and finishing tasks.
Inspect fabricated components to ensure compliance with quality standards and tolerances.
Maintain and troubleshoot fabrication equipment, and report or escalate equipment issues.
Follow sound safety practices and all safety regulations.
Maintain a clean and organized work area.
Collaborate with engineering, quality, and production teams to resolve fabrication or design issues.
