About The Position

The Fabrication Technician produces, assembles, and finishes material components according to engineering drawings and specifications. The role supports manufacturing operations by ensuring high-quality fabrication, maintaining equipment, and following safety and quality standards. This position is for the 3rd shift.

Requirements

High school diploma or GED.
1–3 years of fabrication, machining, or manufacturing experience.
Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and blueprints.
Proficiency with fabrication tools and machinery.
Basic math and measurement skills.
Strong attention to detail.

Responsibilities

Interpret and work from blueprints, technical drawings, and work orders.
Set up and operate fabrication equipment, such as saws, presses, CNC machines, welding equipment, or cutting tools.
Measure, cut, shape, and assemble materials to precise specifications.
Perform welding, grinding, drilling, and finishing tasks.
Inspect fabricated components to ensure they meet quality standards and tolerances.
Maintain and troubleshoot fabrication equipment, and report or escalate equipment issues.
Follow safety practices and regulations.
Maintain a clean and organized work area.
Collaborate with engineering, quality, and production teams to resolve fabrication or design issues.
