About The Position

The 2nd Shift Fabrication Technician's responsibilities will include operating various tools and equipment to prep parts, so products are ready for the next phase of completion. This role requires the ability to work from 2:00 p.m. - 10:30 p.m., Monday - Friday, with mandatory overtime when required. The technician will adhere to company policies regarding attendance, overtime, cell phone use, breaks, and smoking.

Requirements

High school diploma or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Ability to read and understand prints.
Ability to use measuring devices such as calipers, protractors, and squares.
Must be at least 18 years of age.
Must be able to lift and/or move 50 pounds.
Must be able to lift overhead.

Works under the close direction of senior personnel in the functional area.

Responsibilities

Operate various tools and equipment to prep parts.
Deburr and prep parts using hand and power tools.
Read and understand prints.
Use measuring devices such as calipers, protractors, and squares.
Run machines, including Drill press, PEM inserting machine, and belt sanders.
Achieve production efficiency and quality standards.
Maintain a clean and safe work area.
Rotate workstations according to business and production needs.
Adhere to work schedules.
Follow company policies regarding attendance, overtime, cell phone use, breaks, and smoking.
