About The Position
The Fabrication Fitter is responsible for assembling, fitting, and welding stainless steel components according to engineering drawings and specifications to produce high-quality fabricated parts and assemblies. This role requires strong technical skills in metal fabrication, precision measuring, and an in-depth understanding of stainless steel materials and fabrication techniques.
Requirements
- Read basic measuring devices.
- Cut and form tubing and other fittings.
- Willingness to learn - required.
- Work in a fast-paced environment.
- Attendance on a regular, consistent basis is mandatory.
Nice To Haves
- Proficient in math - preferred.
Responsibilities
- Identify and cut various diameter tubing and fittings to conform to customer specifications
- Daily usage of measuring devices such as calipers, height gauges and tape measures
- Perform job functions in a safe and efficient manner
- Read blueprints and shop plans
- Help develop designs for welding projects
- Use a variety of tools and equipment
