About The Position

The 2nd Shift Fabrication Technician’s responsibilities will include operating various tools and equipment to prep parts, so products are ready for the next phase of completion. This role requires adherence to work schedules, including the ability to work 2:00 p.m. - 10:30 p.m., Monday - Friday, and mandatory overtime when required. The technician will also follow company policies regarding attendance, overtime, cell phone use, breaks, and smoking.

Requirements

High school diploma or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Ability to read and understand prints.
Ability to work under the close direction of senior personnel in the functional area.
Must be at least 18 years of age.
Must be able to lift and/or move 50 pounds.
Must be able to lift overhead.

Responsibilities

Operate various tools and equipment to prep parts for the next phase of completion.
Use hand and power tools to deburr and prep parts.
Read and understand prints.
Use measuring devices such as calipers, protractors, and squares.
Run machines, including Drill press, PEM inserting machine, and belt sanders.
Achieve production efficiency and quality standards.
Maintain a clean and safe work area.
Rotate workstations according to business and production needs.
Adhere to work schedules.
Work 2:00 p.m. - 10:30 p.m., Monday - Friday, and mandatory overtime when required.
Follow company policies regarding attendance, overtime, cell phone use, breaks, and smoking.
