About The Position

Precision Custom Components (PCC) is seeking a talented Fabrication Supervisor (2nd Shift) to join our team. This is an on-site position reporting to our manufacturing facility in York, PA. The Fabrication Supervisor oversees 2nd shift (3:30pm-11:55pm) fabrication operations. This role leads and develops a team of hourly union fabricators - planning, prioritizing, and assigning daily work while monitoring and adjusting production schedules to meet targets. At PCC, you’ll be part of a skilled team that delivers high-quality, made-to-spec components where precision, reliability, and customer focus matter. Whether you’re driving results in the office or making them happen on the shop floor, you’ll collaborate across departments to solve problems, support efficient operations, and help ensure every component is completed safely, accurately, and with precision!

Requirements

  • High school diploma or trade school diploma required
  • 3+ years of experience in a manufacturing environment, preferably in a setting similar to PCC.
  • 3+ years in supervisory/management
  • Strong working knowledge of ERP systems and Microsoft Office applications, including Word, Excel, and Outlook.
  • Strong knowledge of fabrication processes, blueprint reading, and workstations setup
  • Proven ability to work independently, take initiative, and build productive supervisor-employee relationships in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
  • Ability to effectively supervise and lead associates in a union-represented environment while maintaining accountability, consistency, and respect.

  • completion of an apprenticeship program or related post-secondary technical education preferred

Responsibilities

  • Lead and direct hourly union personnel in fabrication operations
  • Assign work, train employees, and monitor quality and productivity
  • Enforce safety compliance and fostering a culture of zero incidents
  • Maintain accurate records, enforce work rules, and support morale
  • Coordinate workflow across departments to ensure efficient production
  • Recommend improvements in manufacturing methods and processes
  • Communicate effectively with engineering, other shifts, and leadership
