This role is responsible for leading Fabrication team members, ensuring they perform at the highest level through hiring, coaching, and mentoring. The Fabrication Supervisor will train and develop team members to reach their full potential, ensuring they have the skills and knowledge to excel. A key obsession is to relentlessly promote the Aagard culture, communicating openly, sharing knowledge, and building positive collaboration between all shifts and departments. The position also requires a commitment to safety and quality, maintaining a safe, organized, and clean work environment, and ensuring parts and processes meet quality standards through routine maintenance and checks. Identifying and implementing best practices to boost performance, productivity, and cost efficiency, while monitoring safety and quality metrics and addressing issues promptly are also crucial. The supervisor must ensure team members operate efficiently and with urgency, completing machine units and rework on schedule, and responding quickly to customer needs with an "I can’t believe they pulled that off" mindset. Proficiency in operating and setting up fabrication equipment, and troubleshooting and resolving equipment, tooling, and process issues are essential to support team success.
