About The Position

Konecranes is seeking a hands-on Fabrication Supervisor to lead employees manufacturing custom-engineered crane structures, including bridge girders, end trucks, trolley frames, platforms, walkways, machinery structures, and other welded assemblies for overhead and gantry crane systems. The supervisor is responsible for the safe, efficient, and high-quality execution of fabrication activities, from material preparation and fit-up through welding, dimensional verification, and structural assembly. The role provides direct leadership to fabrication employees and is accountable for safety, productivity, quality, schedule adherence, and workmanship. This is a visible, factory-floor leadership role. The supervisor ensures fabricated structures meet engineering requirements, dimensional tolerances, and applicable welding standards, including AWS D14.1. The position works closely with Engineering, Quality, Planning, and Assembly to deliver safe, reliable crane components ready for assembly.
