About The Position

We are seeking an experienced Fabrication Supervisor to lead and manage the production team in Bowling Green, Kentucky. The role oversees efficient, safe, and high-quality fabrication operations and ensures compliance with ISO9001 and IATF16949 standards. The supervisor plans production, manages staff and processes, addresses operational issues, and supports continuous improvement.

Requirements

• Proven expertise in managing people and leading production teams.
• Strong knowledge of fabrication processes and manufacturing methods.
• Familiarity with ISO9001 and IATF16949 standards and ability to ensure compliance.
• Ability to perform and supervise physically demanding tasks safely and efficiently.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to resolve operational and maintenance issues.
• Strong communication skills to document and share production information effectively.
• Experience with 5S methodology and safety improvement initiatives.

Responsibilities

• Lead by example in safe work practices, including proper use of personal protective equipment (PPE).
• Perform and oversee physical activity throughout the shift, including standing, walking, bending, stooping, squatting, reaching, handling, near- and far-vision tasks, pushing, pulling, lifting, and carrying forging products weighing up to 50 pounds.
• Review production jobs and schedules to determine product types, quantities, and specifications.
• Plan production operations by establishing manufacturing priorities and sequences based on production processes, methods, and workforce requirements.
• Meet with managers and shift leaders to explain job details before assigning tasks to production staff.
• Review production and operation reports and resolve operational and maintenance issues to minimize costs and prevent delays.
• Manage processes to meet key performance indicators (KPIs) and production needs.
• Inspect equipment to ensure operational performance and collaborate with personnel to establish production and quality control standards.
• Drive continuous process improvement initiatives and implement 5S and safety improvements.
• Document production activities and problems, and communicate solutions across organizational levels.
