About The Position

The Fabrication Manager position is responsible for supervision of fabrication personnel to include the Safety, production and quality control of all Sheet metal, Pipe fabrication, equipment process and implementation. This position reports to the Vice-President of Construction. Hardy Corporation has been providing mechanical services for over 80 years. This role requires a self-driven team player who is safety-minded and dedicated to accountability, excellence, and quality. The manager will create and implement data-driven programs and KPIs for production management, utilizing good general math skills and hands-on general mechanical ability. Excellent working knowledge of computers and Microsoft Excel is essential, along with experience in lean systems, time studies, and production studies. The role involves obtaining, measuring, executing, and reporting information to maximize output, and acting as a systematic, trusted problem solver to achieve production targets. A working knowledge of sheet metal and pipe fabrication, including familiarity with prints and submittals, as well as welding, fitting, and fabrication techniques, is required.

Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or equivalent.
Five + years supervisory experience required.
