About The Position

The specialist reviews products to determine necessary repairs, prepares appropriate tools and materials, and carries out repairs to insurance-quality standards. Repairs may involve cutting, trimming, filing, bending, or smoothing parts. Requirements

High school diploma or equivalent practical experience.
Strong focus on quality and care for the product and work.
Professional credibility, including responsiveness, a team-focused approach, and the ability and interest to work safely.
Ability to stand and walk for up to 8–10 hours.
Ability to lift and move totes weighing up to 50 pounds.
Ability to bend, lift, stretch, and reach regularly, both below the waist and above the head.

Responsibilities

Review each product to determine the required repairs.
Ensure the proper tools and materials are available to repair products to an insurance-quality standard.
Cut, trim, file, bend, or smooth parts as needed to meet required standards.
Ensure quality control standards are met.
Adhere to assembly safety standards.
Work with team members to identify and develop improved repair methods.
Comply with safety standards and requirements to maintain a safe, hazard-free warehouse environment and prevent injuries.
