  • Ability to read engineering design documents.
  • Experience tracking procurement, managing schedules, developing estimates, managing budgets, and controlling change orders.
  • Clear, direct communication skills and ability to work effectively with shop personnel, procurement, and external clients.
  • Proficiency with Word, Excel, and Teams.

Responsibilities

  • Own and manage the end-to-end project master schedule, from drawing release and approval through final shipping.
  • Create bills of materials and material requirements; issue purchase orders and track materials.
  • Coordinate fabrication startup and welding execution, QA/QC compliance, coating and finishing, customer inspections, and final delivery.
  • Maintain a project dashboard tracking deliverables, overdue tasks, production bottlenecks, procurement status, percent complete, labor hours versus budget, change orders, and customer delivery timelines.
  • Lead concise weekly project meetings with shop, quality, and procurement teams to resolve roadblocks and align schedules.
  • Monitor labor hours against budget, evaluate scope changes, process change orders, and coordinate customer inspections and delivery.
