Requirements

  • Experience in a manufacturing, fabrication, or production environment preferred.
  • Ability to use hand tools, power tools, and air tools.
  • Forklift operating experience preferred.
  • Knowledge of metal materials, including stainless steel, steel, and aluminum.
  • Ability to read and understand blueprints and Bills of Materials (BOMs).
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
  • Ability to follow written and verbal instructions.
  • Ability to lift up to 50lbs and stand for extended periods.
  • Strong commitment to workplace safety and quality standards.
  • Must pass a background check and drug screen.

Responsibilities

  • Operate hand tools, power tools, and pneumatic (air) tools safely and effectively.
  • Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and Bills of Materials (BOMs).
  • Label parts from laser-cut pallets according to production requirements.
  • Sort and group parts by work order for downstream fabrication processes.
  • Deburr laser-cut parts to meet quality standards and specifications.
  • Handle, move, and organize raw materials and finished components.
  • Identify and work with different metal materials, including stainless steel, carbon steel, and aluminum.
  • Operate forklifts to transport materials and products throughout the facility.
  • Follow work instructions, production schedules, and supervisor directions.
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.
  • Perform quality checks to ensure parts meet specifications before moving to the next operation.
