About The Position

Assist the fabrication shop with daily production and material handling tasks under the direction of the Fabrication Lead. Operate shop equipment to shear, punch, and saw raw materials. Tend automated and semi-automated fabrication equipment. Organize, package, label, and ship materials, hardware, and finished products. Load and unload freight trucks and assist crews with job material handling. Safely operate mobile equipment while performing assigned duties. Maintain a clean, organized, and safe shop and yard environment. Cover, label, and organize chain link and Trex gates as directed. Support additional shop and production tasks as assigned by management. Follow all company safety and environmental policies and procedures.

Requirements

• Valid Driver's License Required
• Required to stand for long periods of time
• Must be able to lift or move up to 50 pounds
• Strictly follows safety policies, rules, and safe work methods
• Promptly corrects or reports safety hazards or unsafe conditions
• Promptly reports injuries for diagnosis and treatment
• Makes regular suggestions for safety process improvements

Nice To Haves

• Occasionally required to walk, sit, reach with hands and arms, climb stairs or ladders, balance, stoop, kneel, or crouch
• Work outdoors in a variety of weather conditions
