About The Position

The Fabrication Operator uses tube fabrication equipment, including saws, swagers, bending machines, and drills, to process material according to customer specifications. The position requires precise attention to detail and strict adherence to safety and quality standards. Work takes place in a job shop and warehouse environment that may be heated or unheated and periodically noisy, with a fast-paced, moderately stressful, and changing day-to-day workload.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED.
• Ability to read, interpret, and use a tape measure and other tube fabrication equipment.

• Must wear proper personal protective equipment (PPE) at all times in the warehouse.

• Thorough knowledge of US Wholesale operations, policies, and procedures.
• Knowledge of ISO 9001:2015 quality procedures.

Responsibilities

• Operate various types of fabrication equipment in a job shop atmosphere.
• Record accurate information for all production orders.
• Keep the work area clean throughout the day.
• Report quality-related problems to the Supervisor for resolution.
• Provide cross training to others and receive cross training elsewhere as needed.
• Attend all scheduled company and safety meetings.
• Follow and enforce company safety policies and safe work practices at all times.
• Demonstrate teamwork and cooperation with other employees and supervisors.
• Report equipment problems to the Supervisor for immediate repair or scheduling for repair.
