About The Position

The Fabrication Operator performs entry-level fabrication-area functions, producing quality work to prescribed standards and supporting continuous improvement to meet customer commitments on schedule and within budget. The role follows written, verbal, and process-flow instructions, maintains a safe work environment, and properly uses required personal protective equipment, tools, and material-handling equipment. The position is based in West Plains, Missouri, with no telework and no relocation benefit. The schedule is four 10-hour shifts, Monday through Thursday, on either second shift (4:30 p.m.–3:00 a.m.) or third shift (7:30 p.m.–6:00 a.m.).

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED.

Responsibilities

• Produce quality work to prescribed standards, focusing on continuous improvement and meeting customer commitments on schedule and within budget.
• Follow written work instructions and adhere to safety procedures for handling materials, chemicals, tools, and equipment.
• Properly use required personal protective equipment (PPE).
• Support, communicate, reinforce, and defend the organization’s mission, values, and culture.
• Safely handle products according to guidelines and perform basic operation of tools in the fabrication area, including large and small wheelabrators.
• Properly use hoists, rigging, tools, and material-handling equipment.
• Interpret Process Flow Instructions and other written or verbal instructions.
• Log in and out of assigned jobs and complete appropriate paperwork.
• Read and interpret manufacturing processes, blueprints, and other work instructions.
