About The Position

Hydro Extrusions is hiring a Fabrication Machine Operator. The role involves setting up and operating machines efficiently, reviewing supervisor-provided process sheets for customer orders, monitoring equipment for production defects, and checking equipment before operation. The operator also marks Hydro and customer part numbers and piece counts on racks or carts prepared for shipment, and reports defects or material shortages to a supervisor or lead. The starting rate is $20.50 per hour. First shift runs from 6:00 a.m. to 2:30 p.m.; third shift runs from 10:00 p.m. to 6:30 a.m. Third-shift employees receive an additional $1.00 per hour shift differential.

Requirements

High school diploma or GED.
Ability to lift a minimum of 40 pounds.
Ability to use tools correctly, including tape measures, calipers, micrometers, and lineal checking gauges.

Nice To Haves

Prior experience working in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
Good math skills using fractions, decimals, and basic geometry.
