We have an immediate opening for Brake Press Operator in St. Charles, MO. Our facility is temperature controlled and clean. This job description is not intended to be all-inclusive. Requirements
- Proficient in blueprint reading and interpreting engineering drawings.
- Familiarity with precision measuring instruments such as calipers and protractors.
- Ability to program and adjust CNC controls for accurate bending and forming.
- Knowledge of sheet metal fabrication techniques and processes.
- Basic math skills for measurements and calculations.
- Strong attention to detail and quality control.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
Nice To Haves
- At least 2 years of experience perferred
- Previous experience operating press brake machines or similar equipment preferred.
Responsibilities
- Interpret engineering drawings and blueprints to determine the bending sequence.
- Adjust machine settings, including speed, angle, and pressure, to achieve accurate bends.
- Set up and prepare press brake machines for production runs, including selecting appropriate tooling and materials.
- Monitor the product process, making necessary adjustments to maintain quality and accuracy.
- Inspect finished products to ensure they meet quality standards and specifications.
- Maintain a safe and clean work environment by following safety procedures and regulations.
- Keep accurate records of production data and work performed.
- Adhere to quality control standards and contribute to continuous improvement efforts.
- Use precision measuring instruments such as calipers and protractors to verify dimensions.
