About The Position

Volt is hiring a Fabrication Associate in Halethorpe, Maryland. This full-time contract role involves working with pipe fabrication equipment and performing production, material-handling, safety, and quality-check tasks. The role requires manufacturing or pipe-fabrication experience, the ability to read measurements and use basic math, and steel-toe boots.

Requirements

• Experience in manufacturing, production, or pipe fabrication.
• Ability to read measurements and use basic math skills.
• Steel-toe boots are required.

Nice To Haves

• Forklift operating experience.
• Experience with pipe cutting, threading, or grooving equipment.
• Knowledge of OSHA and workplace safety practices.
• Experience performing quality inspections on fabricated products.

Responsibilities

• Operate pipe fabrication and grooving machines.
• Inspect welds and check pipes for leaks.
• Measure, cut, thread, and bevel pipes.
• Move, stack, and bundle pipes safely.
• Operate forklifts and other shop equipment.
• Follow safety procedures and work instructions.
• Maintain a clean and organized work area.
