About The Position
Skilled Trades Specialists is seeking motivated Fabrication Assemblers to join our industrial manufacturing team. This role is ideal for candidates with hands-on construction, framing, fabrication, or shop experience who want to grow their welding skills in a fast-paced industrial environment. MIG Welding experience does not have to be extensive. We can provide brush-up and training!
Requirements
- Hands-on experience in construction, framing, fabrication, or mechanical assembly
- Basic MIG welding experience (we can help you grow your skill level)
- Ability to read measurements and use common shop tools
- Reliable, safety-minded, and able to work in a team environment
- Willingness to learn and take direction
Responsibilities
- Assemble industrial components using hand tools, power tools, and fabrication equipment
- Perform MIG welding on structural parts, frames, and assemblies
- Read and interpret basic blueprints, measurements, and fabrication drawings
- Cut, grind, fit, and prep materials for welding and assembly
- Work with a team to complete builds safely, accurately, and on schedule
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area
