About The Position

The Fab Shop Helper actively supports the Company’s commitment to safety and its “Core Values.” This role represents the Company at all times with high moral standards while adhering to the Company’s “Code of Business Conduct and Ethics.” Responsibilities include operating machinery, assisting with welding and fitting by lifting, positioning, and removing fabricated pieces, and loading, stacking, and transporting materials. The role also involves cleaning and preparing surfaces, performing basic maintenance on equipment, and maintaining a clean and organized work area to ensure a safe environment. Identifying and correcting safety hazards is a key aspect of this position. Other duties may be required or assigned.

Requirements

Previous experience and/or training in a fabrication or machine shop environment is required.
Ability to operate tools and equipment applicable to position.
Working knowledge of basic hand tools.
Ability to communicate well with others in a fast-paced environment.
Must be able to obtain and maintain an active status within company designated drug consortium.
Regular and reliable attendance is required in this role.

May operate machinery.
Help with the lifting, positioning and removal of fabricated pieces from machines to assist with welding and fitting.
Loading, stacking and transporting materials, tools and fabricated pieces by hand or using equipment such as forklifts.
Clean and prepare surfaces for fabrication, welding, painting, or shipping.
Perform basic maintenance on equipment and report any irregularities.
Keep the work area clean and organized to maintain a safe working environment.
Identify safety hazards you or other employees may be subject to and take all necessary corrective action to eliminate or minimize safety hazards.
Perform other duties as required or assigned.
