The Assistant Program Manager (APM) is responsible for regional oversight and management for the FAA Western Service Area sites. The APM oversees Site Manager (Captains) who are responsible for day-to-day operations of their relative site. The APM serves as primary field-level representative between ADC LTD NM Corporate Headquarters (HQ) and Site Management. This role is responsible for ensuring that all assigned sites and Site Managers (Captains) operate safely, efficiently, professionally and in accordance with company policies, union requirements, customer contractual obligations, and applicable laws and regulations. This position Reports directly to the Executive Vice President/Program Manager (PM). The Assistant Program Manager will work closely with ADC LTD NM Corporate Executives, the FAA HR team, directly with Government Contracting Officer's Representatives (CORs), Contracting Officer's Technical Representative (COTRs), and Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) site Area Technical Representatives (ATRs). The APM provides operational oversight and support to the Site Captains, Security Officers and site personnel. This position is responsible for maintaining site compliance, monitoring staffing and performance, conducting site inspections, addressing operational issues and ensuring consistent standards across all assigned locations. The APM is expected to maintain a strong, professional field presence while keeping HQ informed of operational conditions, compliance concerns, staffing issues, incidents and client-related matters. This role communicates regional performance and issues to HQ, and works both independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced, dynamic company.
