Pratt & Whitney Military Engines F135 DEPOT Configuration Data Management, which supports the F135 engine powering the F-35 Joint Strike Fighter, is seeking a dedicated team manager to join the organization. In this role, you will lead a team responsible for managing Pratt & Whitney Aftermarket Depots F135 Configuration Data within the Systems, Applications, and Products in Data Processing (SAP) application. Your responsibilities will include maintaining master data integrity and accuracy, leading and resolving investigations into any data inconsistency issues, establishing a budget and supporting negotiations, and developing a training curriculum for the DEPOT Configuration Data Management team.
Requirements
- BS/BA degree
- 8 years of experience in reviewing technical data, large dataset, enterprise applications or an Advanced degree with 5 years of experience in reviewing technical data, large dataset, enterprise applications
- 2 years of experience with turbine engine maintenance methods, engine depot overhaul support, or engine maintenance support at customer locations
- U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are eligible for a security clearance
Nice To Haves
- Master’s Degree in Engineering or Computer Science 5 years of experience
- Experience with P&W SAP MRO solution
- Experience interpreting blueprints, technical instructions (IETP/ IETMS), and engineering changes (EC)
- General understanding of programming in Python and data transformation
Responsibilities
- Manage day-to-day activities and collaborate with cross-functional teams to resolve configuration data issues raised by CONUS and OCONUS DEPOTs
- Work with Quality, Materials, PME, PE, DT, and SAP SMEs to implement SAP configurator improvements that meet program needs
- Define a strategy to incorporate data for any new engine variants (600A, ECU).
- Establish a training curriculum, skill matrix, and proficiency levels required for the team.
- Leverage the CORE OS to define and maintain KPI metrics that align with the program’s overall objectives
