Pratt & Whitney Military Engines F135 DEPOT Configuration Data Management, which supports the F135 engine powering the F-35 Joint Strike Fighter, is seeking a dedicated individual contributor to join the team. In this role, you will collaborate with a team responsible for managing Pratt & Whitney Aftermarket Depots' F135 Configuration Data within the Systems, Applications, and Products in data processing (SAP) application. Your primary objective will be to maintain accurate fielded configurations in SAP, ensuring robust configuration control for the F135 Maintenance, Repair, Overhaul, and Upgrade (MRO&U) Depots' inspection and kitting processes. This work is critical to ensuring the quality and accuracy of configuration data, as well as the safety and reliability of the modules delivered from the depots.
Requirements
- BS/BA degree
- 5 years of data analysis, working in overhaul shop, leading cross functional teams experience or an Advanced degree with 3 years of data analysis, working in overhaul shop, leading cross functional teams experience
- 2 years of experience reviewing technical data, large dataset, enterprise applications
- 2 years of experience in turbine engine maintenance methods, engine depot overhaul support, or engine maintenance support at customer locations
- U.S. citizenship is required
Nice To Haves
- Master’s degree in Engineering or Computer Science, or Industrial Technology with 3 years of experience
- 3 years of experience working with the SAP MRO solution
- 3 years of experience interpreting blueprints, technical publications and engineering changes (EC)
- 3 years of experience in programming using Python and data transformation, Excel formulas, and Visual Basic
Responsibilities
- Ability to interpret configuration control, Engineering Changes (EC), Time Compliance Technical Directive (TCTD), technical publication, and Illustrated Parts Diagram (IPD)
- Ability to incorporate technical data into the SAP application
- Ability to extract and manipulate data through automation
- Ability to independently manage small projects and lead process improvement initiatives
- Ability to communicate technical findings to cross-functional teams and external customers
