About The Position

The F&I Manager uses a consultative, solution-selling approach to sell new and use car buying finance, insurance, risk management products and programs based off the customer's needs. This role strives to provide the optimal level of service and a seamless customer journey to ensure that every customer is delighted with their sales and F&I experience.

Requirements

  • At least 2 years of automotive sales experience and at least 1 year in a dealership management position.
  • Must possess strong communication skills in order to work with customers, employees and finance and insurance vendors as they represent the dealership.
  • Ability to achieve sales goals with high customer satisfaction ratings.
  • Ability to work well with customers, co-workers, and lending institutions.
  • Ability to work every Saturday and nights.
  • Must maintain a valid Georgia driver’s license with a clean MVR.
  • Must submit to and successfully pass a background & drug screen.

Responsibilities

  • Present vehicle financing and insurance programs to customers and provide a comprehensive explanation of aftermarket products, extended warranties and manufacturer and dealership service procedures and policies.
  • Utilize the Dealership’s Financial Services Overview (menu) to ensure that the full menu of relevant options is offered and explained.
  • Process financing and leasing contracts accurately and secure approval through financial sources.
  • Confirm that all information is correct and completed on the Purchase Agreement, including correct mileages, serial numbers, and license numbers on both the vehicle being sold and the trade-in, payoff on trade in.
  • Complete continuous training requirements.
  • Demonstrate understanding and compliance with federal, state and local regulations that affect the new and used-vehicle and finance departments.
  • Maintain up to date knowledge of federal, state, and local regulations that affect F&I operations.
  • Review chargeback analysis monthly.
  • Ensure that all deals are approved and turned in to the accounting office, fully and accurately completed, within 24hrs of deal delivery. Submit any deal that cannot be turned in within 24 hours of deal delivery this time frame to the Center Manager for approval.
  • Accurately enter every deal into FIMS immediately upon completion of the delivery.
  • Ensure that FIMS matches the Green Sheets for the preceding month, in unit counts by New, Pre-owned, and Total, by 5pm on the 1st business day of the new month.
  • Keep all deals on the Contracts In Transit (CIT) list to 14 days aging, or less. Any deal that cannot be cleared from the list within this time frame must be communicated to the Center Manager as to the reason why and expected clearance date prior to the deal aging to the 15th day.
  • Void F&I products that have been activated, but not sold, in Easy Care Online (ECO) within 24hrs of activation.
