About The Position

Nissan Greenville is seeking an F&I Manager to offer vehicle financing and insurance to customers. This role involves providing thorough explanations of aftermarket products, extended warranties, and dealership policies. The F&I Manager will work with lending institutions to secure competitive rates, process deals accurately, and ensure compliance with all regulations. This position also requires creating and maintaining a strong relationship with the sales department, training sales staff on finance programs, and introducing customers to the service department to ensure ongoing satisfaction. Proactive communication with customers, management, and other departments is key to providing an excellent customer experience. The role also includes maintaining a professional appearance, meeting dealership KPIs, and completing required training.

Requirements

  • Available to work full-time hours.
  • Scheduling may require weekends before/after business hours.
  • High school diploma or the equivalent.
  • Authorized to work in the USA for any employer.
  • Previous experience in a similar role is preferred.
  • Intermediate communication, problem-solving, and mathematical skills using American units of measure.
  • Satisfactory criminal, credit and driving records checks (where applicable).
  • In-person interviews and other inquiries.

Responsibilities

  • Offering vehicle financing and insurance to customers.
  • Providing customers with a thorough explanation of aftermarket products and extended warranties.
  • Providing a complete explanation of manufacturer and dealership service procedures and policies.
  • Working with lending institutions and maintaining good working relationships to secure competitive interest rates and financing programs.
  • Processing financing and leasing deals accurately and securing approval through financial sources and through the proper federal, state and corporate channels.
  • Understanding and complying with federal, state/local regulations as well as Manufacturer and Lender requirements that affect the new and used-vehicle and finance departments.
  • Creating and maintaining a program with the sales department that will ensure all new sales are referred to the F&I department.
  • Training and providing the sales team with information on finance and lease programs and the benefits of the dealership’s financing and extended service programs.
  • Introducing customers to the service department and working with the service department to ensure ongoing customer satisfaction.
  • Proactively communicating potential issues with customers, management, and other departments in order to provide the best possible customer experience.
  • Maintaining a professional personal appearance and work space.
  • Meeting Manufacturer and Dealership KPI metrics.
  • Completing required dealership training and staying up-to date on the latest program requirements.
  • Abiding by company policy and departmental best practices and procedures and performing other duties as assigned.
