About The Position

The Finance and Insurance Consultant will assist customers in navigating the vehicle financing process with clarity and professionalism. This role involves collaborating with the sales team to finalize deals efficiently and accurately, maximizing the offering of finance and protection products on each transaction. The consultant will stay informed on Audi manufacturer programs and alternative finance options, communicate relevant finance program details to client advisors, and review and verify contracts for accurate submission to financial institutions. Maintaining compliance with company policies and all legal requirements, reporting contract approval status promptly, and working with finance sources to optimize customer approvals are key aspects of this position. The role also ensures adherence to federal, state, and local regulations impacting sales and partners with Sales Managers to secure profitability on every deal. Additional duties and special projects may be assigned.

Requirements

  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to collaborate effectively with sales management and team members.
  • Skilled in explaining finance concepts and products to customers and staff.
  • Negotiation expertise with the ability to overcome objections and close deals.
  • High School diploma or GED required; college degree preferred.
  • Minimum 2+ years of related sales experience, preferably in automotive finance.
  • Prior dealership experience in sales or finance strongly preferred.
  • Proficiency with computer systems, finance programs, and dealership operations.
